Meet Collette Cosby, Midline’s new Executive Director of Community Life

Soon after welcoming our first homeowners, Midline has added a key team member whose job will be to make all of the 2,800 families who will ultimately live here feel connected and engaged.

We’re excited to introduce Collette Cosby as Midline’s Executive Director of Community Life.

Collette will have a permanent office at The Midline Club when this major amenity opens in 2027. Until then, she’s working remotely and meeting with new homeowners at The Midline Welcome Center, to orient them and listen to their expectations for their new community.

“Listening is a very important part of my job right now, especially since Midline is just getting started,” Collette says. “We want to create events and experiences that will be very meaningful for our residents. We want to activate our incredible amenities, like The Midline Club and The Line trail, and also engage with businesses in our amazing location that’s right in the middle of everything.”

Before joining Midline, Collette was an Executive Director for the YMCA in Atlanta. She was also Director of Community Engagement for Easton Park, Midline’s sister community in Austin.

This varied experience gives her a strong background in health, wellness, and creating programs that help make residents feel like they’re part of a vibrant community.

“I love to get in on the ground floor and build things up,” Collette says. “I feel the same energy and excitement at Midline as I did at Easton Park. I was there when we had just over 100 homes and the main amenity was being built.”

Whether serving residents in a master-planned community or members of a nonprofit organization, Collette has built her career around creating places where people can form meaningful connections. She sees Midline as an opportunity to do that from the very beginning.

She’s happy to be back with Cohere Community Life, which manages the homeowners’ associations for Midline and most other communities being developed by Brookfield Residential.

Cohere is unique among property management firms in that it puts community engagement at the top of its priorities, along with more routine (but important) functions such as maintaining common areas and landscaping.

For now, the Community Life Team at Midline includes Collette and Bella Nidever, Director of Community Engagement. As Midline grows, Collette foresees adding new team members including Ambassadors, who will greet residents at The Midline Club and will assist with event and activities.
